AMATEUR NIGHT AT THE APOLLO

The Apollo Theater at 253 West 125th Street between Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard and Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, is one of New York’s most popular live entertainment experiences. The classic competition is known for its notoriously “tough” audience, gleefully deciding who will “be good or be gone” to win the grand prize. Who will be the next Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown or Michael Jackson? At Amateur Night, you decide.

NYRR NEW YORK MINI 10K WALK

We ran with over 8,000 women and all around us we could see the purple. Team Sammy runs the NYC mini 10 K race to help raise awareness and funds for treatment of blood cancers. We are fundraising for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and you can donate too with the link below. Such a fun time for such a good cause!
