Spain Residential Real Estate Market Analysis 2023

Spain’s residential property market remains buoyant, with nationwide house prices rising by 5.03% during 2022 (but fell slightly by 0.64% in real terms), according to figures from the online property information site Idealista. This is in line with official figures released by the Bank of Spain, which showed that Spanish house prices increased by 4.72% to €1,740 per square meter (sq. m) during the year to Q3 2022, following y-o-y increases of 5.55% in Q2 2022, 6.68% in Q1 2022, 4.43% in Q4 2021 and 2.59% in Q3 2021. However, when adjusted for inflation, house prices actually dropped 4.85%.

Parque de Malaga Park

The Alcazaba

The Alcazaba, a fortress, is one of the oldest parts of the Alhambra, as is the case of the Vermilion Towers (Torres Bermejas). It is thought that before it was built and before the Muslims arrived in Granada, there were already several constructions in the same area.

Located at the top end of Calle Granada which is the minor (but none less interesting) continuation of major Calle Llarios at Plaza de la Constitution. The square is a popular meeting place in the evening and open air events take place here from time to time.
