Buying a home in Spain is an exciting adventure—whether it’s a sunny coastal retreat, a city apartment, or a countryside villa. While the process is a little different from other countries, with the right guidance it can be smooth and enjoyable.
We’ll start by understanding your goals and helping you with the basics, like setting up a Spanish bank account and obtaining your NIE (tax identification number). From there, we’ll search for the right property, make an offer, and secure it with a reservation.
Your lawyer will take care of all the checks and paperwork, and when everything is ready, we’ll head to the notary to sign the deed and make the property officially yours.
From start to finish—and even after closing—I’ll be by your side to make the process simple, safe, and stress-free.

Foreign citizens who wish to reside in Spain must have received prior authorization to this end. Once this authorization has been obtained, the corresponding visa is required to grant entry into Spain. Residency in Spain may be on a temporary or a permanent basis.
Temporary residency is the situation that authorizes a stay in Spain for a period of more than 90 days and less than five years. Authorizations for a duration of less than five years may be periodically renewed, following an application by the interested party, if the circumstances are met to grant said application. The initial authorization for temporary residency without work authorization will only be granted to foreigners who can substantiate sufficient economic means to this end and, as the case may be, to their family.
Long-term residency is the situation that authorizes indefinite residency and a work permit in Spain, under the same conditions as for Spanish citizens. Foreign citizens who have had temporary residency in Spain for five years continuously and who meet the conditions established at law will be entitled to long-term residency. For the purposes of obtaining long-term residency, previous and continuous periods of residency in other Member States as holders of the European Union blue card will be calculated to this end.
